Owning a small business means that a lot goes on behind the scenes that falls directly on the owners.    This bakery has been a staple in the community for decades.  We have been proud to be a part of its long history. 

Over the past 5 years, we have had our ups and downs, as part of being new owners, and not primarily bakers. We tried to balance the bakery, jobs, and family.   We made changes, listened to feedback, and hired the best staff that we could find.  Baking is a skill.  Daily mass production of fresh baked goods is not the same as making cupcakes in your kitchen.  We worked with what we had to the best of everyone’s ability.  We appreciate our loyal staff who worked tirelessly to keep our bakery running.

Now, as Paczki season is here, we are starting to hear from many customers again.  However, we wish we would have heard from you and seen you visit throughout the year as well.  Supporting a small business takes more than just one special day. 

As of now, we are unsure of what the future holds for Party Cake.  While we would like to see it continue, we are not sure that is the path anymore.  We thank you for your support and understanding.  And believe us, we miss our baked goods just as much as you do.
